The Christine Pyffer Brandt Charities were established in 1992 to keep the memory alive of a young, vibrant woman, Christine Pyffer Brandt, who lost her battle with cancer. Over the years this charity has raised over $130,000, which will continue to benefit the Abington Memorial Hospital's Rosenfeld Cancer Center supporting needs for patient comfort; Fox Chase Cancer Center's Coventry House Apartments which offer accommodations to families of patients undergoing cancer treatment and the SPCA Helping Hands Pet Fund which offers assistance to families who may be forced to abandon their animal due to unforeseen financial circumstances.
The Delaware Valley Junior Golf Foundation is committed to helping young golfers learn the physical aspects of the sport as well as the mental discipline, true spirit and honorable traditions of the game. Since 1995, approximately $100,000 has been used to send 85 junior golfers to golf camp and award 31 college scholarships, supported some of the area's junior golf programs by donating equipment to the Philadelphia Recreation Department Golf Camp and Playground Golf Programs, and funding to the PGA Greater Philadelphia Junior Golf Foundation, First Tee Program and the Harry Hammond Cup Scholarships.

Tournament Day - Sunday, October 4, 2009
The tournament format will
consist of two net better balls out of four. Each player will use
100% of their USGA handicap (to a maximum of 40). Although you can play
with any foursome that you can arrange, players will be randomly assigned
to teams after the start of play. You will not know who you are teamed
with until you finish your round. Consequently, it is important to remember
to play out every hole - you may be one of the better balls in your team.
Tournament day will begin
on Sunday, October 4, 2009, at 7:00 AM with a continental breakfast and
registration. There will be a shotgun start at 8:00 AM. After the
tournament, there will be a barbecue luncheon at 12:30 and an awards ceremony
at 1:30. Chipping Contest On Hole #18 after golf.
